Official R2-D2 Case for iPhone 3G / 3GS

Since the launch of iPhone 4 it seems as if 3G and 3GS owners have been forgotten, however the official Star Wars shop has recently added a new case which is a must have for 3G and 3GS owning Star Wars fans.

It seems as if this could be a way of the Star Wars shop answering to the upcoming R2-D2 version of the Motorola Droid 2, which we spoke about previously here, however I know which I would prefer.

The case is not yet readily available, however you can pre-order one if you like for $29.95, the cases should start shipping sometime during October 2010.

Apart from the R2-D2 makeover and sculpted details this case is essentially like any other iPhone case, therefore should protect your handset from accidental bumps and scratches.
