Dragon Age 2: PC, Mac, Xbox 360 & PS3 Release Date

By Jamie Pert - Aug 18, 2010

Dragon Age: Origins has undoubtedly been one of the most popular games we have seen over the last year or so, therefore plenty of gamers are keen to find out when the sequel will launch.

Dragon Age 2 will not arrive in 2010, however EA has confirmed that it should hit store shelves on March 8 2011, it will be coming to the same platforms as Origins (PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Mac).

Prior to this we were assured that a March release was expected, however it is nice to know that EA has now officially released a more accurate release date.

Apparently in Dragon Age 2 you will play as Hawke, your mission is to become a legend by fighting everything in your path whilst transforming the face of the Dragon Age Universe, sounds pretty good to me.

For several reasons. One, this is a set character with their own audio, and you have to be human. You still have the option to change gender, and class, and first name, but not race or last name. However, EA has relased that you CAN import game data from Origins – Awakening so that your gameplay experience in DA2 reflects the decisions made in the first game.
