Facebook Security Warning: Dislike Button is a Scam

If you use Facebook you are probably familiar with the popular “Like” button, a lot of people have shown interest in a similar “Dislike” button, however Facebook’s developers haven’t implemented one yet.
We are hearing that a third-party developer has created a Facebook application which adds a “Dislike” button, however this is in fact a rogue app which collects personal information.
This scam creates revenue for its creator when you fill out a survey, it will also have access to you personal data at all times and be able to use your account to spam messages and wall posts.
Personally I think that Facebook’s developers should do more to control such applications, however while the floodgates are open I would suggest not clicking any link which seems to be too good to be true, it probably is.
