Samsung Epic 4G: Sprint Release Date and Price

By Alan Ng - Aug 12, 2010

We have some good news for those of you waiting for Sprint’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S, as the carrier has finally confirmed a release date, as well as a price for the impressive Samsung Epic 4G.

As reported from Engadget, the Samsung Epic 4G will finally be available to buy on Tuesday August 31st. If you didn’t know already, the Epic 4G comes equipped with the same specs as the already available Galaxy S, except that Sprint’s Epic 4G will feature a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and has support for Sprint’s 4G network speeds via WiMAX.

As for the price, you’ll have to fork out $249.99 to take one home. This price is subject to a two-year agreement with Sprint and is after a $150 instant rebate and $100 mail-in rebate.

We are pretty sure that demand is sky high for the Epic 4G, so if you want to get your hands on one, you better stay tuned on Friday, as that is when reservations may become available.
