Top Ranked Travel App: Packing Pro for iPhone

A great app has just been picked as one of the Top travel Apps for 2010 by the American Express influential Travel &Leisure magazine. Packing Pro 4.1 is a travelers own personal packing assistant and is available for owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. This is the second year running that the app has been chosen by the magazine.

The app has handy sample lists which can be used as templates, and allows unlimited 100 percent customizable packing lists. Since it was first released Packing Pro has been a top ranked app in the travel section of the App Store and reached number 6, and has got glowing reviews.

Other features of the app include weight and value totals, multi-item selection for quick list creation, and the option to send lists to email. New options recently added are a larger master catalog with over 800 items, and full landscape orientation with keyboard support.

Packing Pro 4.1 is on the App Store for the reduced price of only $2.99. Requires iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad with OS 4.1 or later.

    A pen or pencil and paper or notepad go a long way. Sometimes more rudimentary ways of making lists and "checking them off" make more sense. They never run out of battery power. If you have horrible hand writing you can even type up the packing list…and make a bunch of copies. Although for those of us who are addicted to our iPhone and iTouch, I can see the attraction. I have to get back to packing for my expedition to Puerto Rico and my typed up packing list.

    best helper on traveling ;) also I use ,,Plan" app for everyday planning. It's also very easy and quick to use. It's like time manager and calendar in one :)
