What could be Nokia’s new touchscreen device expected to replace the 5800 XpressMusic and aimed at the mid-range market has been leaked in a Hong Kong magazine. The upcoming Cseries smartphone the C7 was seen running the next generation OS.
Dhruv Bhutani of PhoneReport is reporting the device has a 3.3” screen with a resolution of 640×360, and an eight megapixel camera with support for 720p HD video recording. Add to that a dual LED flash for those low level light situations. The C7 is also going to have the forthcoming Symbian^3 operating system.
The device will be 3G capable and will have a micro USB port, a memory card slot, A-GPS positioning and navigation, and a 3.5mm jack. All this is packaged into a slim 11mm profile creating a neat looking phone. As of yet no release details are available but the new device could see the company’s fortunes start to improve with this mid-range device.
