A great game that teaches children the alphabet and numbers has been released for the iPad. Magnetic Alphabet 1.0 brings the classic magnetic board game up to date on the iPad with 570 different pieces that can be placed freely on the board.
Released by Dot Next, the app allows children to be creative and not have to worry about rules and features found on more demanding games. The game was developed based on the writers experience with their own children and grandchildren, and it was noted that the simpler and immediate games were enjoyed more.
The game is great for all ages as children already at school can combine playing with learning. Magnetic Alphabet is also great for those long journeys or parties where children could find themselves getting bored. Ninety five different magnets come in six colors to make a total of 570 pieces, with every single piece can be used more than once. Creations can be stored locally or shared with friends on Facebook.
Magnetic Alphabet 1.0 until August 15 is available for the launch price of $2.99 on the App Store. Requires iPad with OS 3.2 or later.
