EA has recently announced that it is bringing The Sims 3 to quite a few popular consoles and a handheld, these are the Sony PlayStation 3, the Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS, all versions will arrive on October 26th
The Sims 3 for consoles has everything the PC version has (according to EA), however there will be tweaked controls, a better suited user interface and fun extras such as karma powers and a reward system. The PS3 and 360 editions of the game will also feature an online exchange system where players can share content they’ve created with others.
As with The Sims 3 for PC, these console versions feature an angled top-town “isometric” view, but has a closer camera and easier controls that let you move the “cursor” around by pushing the analog sticks on the controller (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) or pointing at the screen with the Wii Remote. That is why I am sure it will be a big hit on these consoles.
Will you be buying the Sims 3 for your console?
