RIM / BlackBerry Tuesday Press Event: Time and Live Blog

It’s no secret that BlackBerry has had a hard year, and need something special to turn things around in 2010, and today may be the day that they show “something special” to the world.

Last week CNET reported they had received an e-mail from Research in Motion, which contained an invite to Tuesday’s “exclusive” NY BlackBerry event. We have seen some new screenshots over the past week that revealed BlackBerry OS 6.0 functionality, and you can bet that OS 6 and a new phone are on the cards today.

Those of you that want to follow the news as it breaks will want to bookmark CNET’s live blog page, the BlackBerry launch event will start at 8am PDT/11am EDT. You can also join our Facebook page or RSS feed, and we will update you there.

The new BlackBerry is expected to be the 9800, which is said to be an AT&T exclusive and include OS 6.0.
