An app which teaches users the art of creating sushi has just been named “App of the Week” in the UK, this follows the app getting “What’s Hot” and New and Noteworthy” in the US. Teach Me Sushi is available for owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
The app was created by Drew Lavyne and sushi chef Jake Davidow who said “I get at least 10 emails a day from people in all parts of the world telling me how much they love the app. It’s an uplifting feeling to know so many people find value in what we’ve been able to put together.”
Teach Me Sushi turns the intimidating art of creating sushi into a fun experience for all to enjoy, covering a variety of dishes with thirteen instructional videos ranging from beginner to advanced level.
Easy to use instructions on how to select fish and make rice, along with a timer and equipment list are included. A useful tool that helps users find their nearest Japanese markets to purchase all the required ingredients is also included in the app.
