If you have been wondering just how much the Nokia N8 will cost when it finally reaches our shelves we have some good news, Nokia’s Italian website is now taking pre-orders for the N8 with a price tag of €470.
This European price allows us to get a rough idea of how much the N8 will cost in other countries, using XE’s currency converter we can estimate that to buy the N8 outright in the U.S. will cost you roughly $614, also to buy it outright in the UK it will cost roughly £393.
Obviously if you buy the N8 as part of a contract this price will be greatly subsidized, I would imagine that as part of a two-year deal the N8 will cost roughly $199/£100, however this depends on what the carrier decides.
As always prices in different countries can vary, therefore take the prices in this article as a ballpark figure.
Do you think the N8 will put Nokia back in the high-end smartphone market?
