Apple Safari 5.0.1: Available for Download – Details

Today Apple has released a new version of their popular Safari web browser, this update brings Safari to version 5.0.1 and the main talking point is that it adds support for extensions.

Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome users have been using extensions for a while now, therefore it is no surprise to hear that Apple are following suit, if you have Safari 5.0.1 installed you can find extensions here.

Extensions are small add-ons for your browser let you further-enhance your browsing experience, they can block advertising, refine the browser’s interface, help keep you in touch with social networking and much more.
