New Xbox 360 Console: Halo Reach Bundle – Price and Release Date

We told you that this bundle might be coming yesterday, and now Microsoft has just confirmed it officially. We have the first pictures of the Limited Edition Halo Reach Xbox 360 bundle to show you now, as well as a confirmed price and release date.

As reported from Engadget, this is Microsoft’s first special edition model of their new slimline Xbox 360 console, so it is no surprise that they are tailoring it on their most prized asset in Halo.

The Halo Reach Xbox 360 bundle will come with a 250GB HDD capacity and features a cool silver design wtih two specially designed Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers. Aside from a copy of the standard game, the bundle will also consist of a Limited Edition Elite armor set, a Halo Reach-themed Xbox 360 wired headset and an episode of Halo Legends.

Interestingly, the official press release from Microsoft also states that the Limited Edition model will come with ‘custom’ Halo Reach sounds and effects! – Sounds great, but what do they mean?

If you are looking to pick one up, it will be available on September 14th, priced at $399. More details and pictures over at Engadget.

    hell ya. i was just goin to buy the halo reach legendary edition, buy i’ll buy a halo reach xbox 360 edtion over that any time.

    legendary edition is pointless man it just comes with statue, how will that be usefull? its pointless dont waste your money on that like i did with th mw2 prestige edition, unless you dont have an xbox 360 just get te regular game, im going to try to get this because i have ps3 and i want a xbox so it'll benifit me by getting this

    dude why doesn't it come with the legendry reach disc instead of the standard, isnt this console "Legendary"

    It says limited addition And mines didn't even come with the limited addition stuff. Limited addition includes : Dr. Hasley's journal and the elite and spartan armor.

    eh my old 360 just red ringed (again) so as far as i am concerned a new box with wifi, reach, and a extra controller and a headset is worth it to me, seeing as i wanted to buy halo reach anyway.

    You also get a flaming helmet, like bungie employees got in Halo 3

    this halo reach 360 is deffinitly worth getting im getting tired of ps3 so this 360 will be worth it

    You know this xbox bundle really saves you a lot of money, and I mean A LOT of money. A 250 gig hard drive cost 130$, the two controllers since they are wireless are about 70$, the wireless adapter is about 70$, the headset about 20$, and the game that you get of course is 60$. That's 350$ so technically speaking you're getting the new xbox for about 50 bucks with the rest of the stuff. Or there are a bunch of other ways you can put that, I just saw that one as the best.
