By Gary Johnson - Jul 22, 2010

We reported last month that BlackBerry may be intending to call its new forthcoming handset the BlackBerry Torch 9800. Time will tell what RIM will eventually call the BlackBerry 9800, but we have a video for you showing the device in action.

Paul Lamkin over at Pocket-lint.com has a YouTube video showcasing the device showing off the boot up sequence of the BlackBerry 6 handset. The lovely looking sequence also shows how easy it will be to pinch and zoom an image, and then save it as a background wallpaper.

The phone certainly looks impressive in action and is sure to be highly sought after when it finally gets released. The 9800 is expected to have a 3.2-inch touchscreen boasting a 360×480 resolution. The camera is expected to have auto-focus and flash, with five megapixels being suggested. Add to that Wi-Fi, GPS, EDGE, and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP the upcoming handset looks mighty impressive.
