These are pretty high demands for an mmorpg. I know how many of you out there have a pc like this but I would think Square Enix would want the majority of the online community to jump in on the fun. Having high specs to play this game would kind of limit their subscriptions. What do you guys think?

I'm considering building a new pc for this game. My current one will definitely not play it smoothly. However I don't have the extra money right now to do it. and I am sure many other hardcore gamers are in the same boat as I. We're in a worldwide recession right now! How can SE expect people to be able to shell out money for new hardware along with buying this game!?

You interpretation of Square's system specs are a little bit off. They posted the required system specifications in order to display graphics at the "Recommended" display settings.
