Civil War America’s Epic Struggle 1.0: New iPhone App

An encyclopedic history of the American civil war featuring over 1,000 quality photos has been released for owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Civil War America’s Epic Struggle 1.0 includes over an hour of multimedia presentations.

Released by MultiEducator the app has access to information on every aspect of the war, including first hand experiences, more than 100 authentic maps, all within eighteen different categories. Major battles are listed alphabetically and chronologically, and various campaigns are illustrated geographically via the period maps.

Black and white zoomable photos bring the text and narration to life. There are many subjects covered in the app which include railroads, music, medical care, navy, and much more. Everything that the application covers can be searched using the pop-up keyboard, while the integrated email allows users to share any articles or pictures via the internet. Favorite pieces and recently viewed pages can be stored so they can easily be viewed later.
