Nintendo 3DS: UK Release Date Rumors

We have some good news for those of you looking to pick up the Nintendo 3DS over in the UK, as it looks as if UK consumers will be able to pick up Nintendo’s 3D handheld at the same time the US gets it – which is great.

According to this report from VG247, Nintendo has apparently told a few UK publishers that the 3DS will be available sometime in March – the same time the device releases in the U.S.

Although release dates may vary between the US and UK, it is nice to know that UK gamers won’t be subjected to the same ‘US gets it first, UK gets it after’ treatment.

Speculation is still mounting on whether Japan will get the console before the end of the year or not. I wonder how many of you would be willing to import just to get a first taster before everyone else.
