Motorola Droid 2: Packaging Shots confirm Release Soon

By Alan Ng - Jul 20, 2010

We have some more details on the highly anticipated Motorola Droid 2 handset now, as we have some images to show you which appear to show Droid 2 handsets being packaged, ready for release on Verizon next month.

As reported from Phandroid, the pictures have come courtesy of Engadget, who once again reiterate that the handset is scheduled to release on August 23rd, despite the fact that neither Motorola or Verizon have officially acknowledged the device yet.

The pictures are very blurry, but you can just about make out the collection of Droid 2 units, which are being prepped up for release. The units look like the finished product to me, so I imagine the next step is to box them up and ship them out to Verizon ahead of a retail release.

If you are looking for some proper pictures of the Droid 2, head to this link here – these are official images hidden within Verizon’s Droid website.
