Golf fans can now get a highly addictive new game for their iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Golf Putt Pro 1.0 has just been released in time for tomorrow’s first round of The Open at St Andrews in Scotland. The game can turn any player into a putting expert or a short game loser.
Released by Neon Play the game allows up to four players to compete against each other to try and get to top the leader board. Players tap the ball when the moving arrow reaches the correct angle for the slope of the screen. The ball then follows the chosen angle to the hole which can end in glory or failure.
Four game modes are included in the game; Three Lives give you three chances to miss the putt, In A Row is a game of sudden death, Pro where the hole moves to different positions while the arrow moves faster, and 18 Holes for up to four players playing on the same device.
Global leader boards allow players to post their scores on Twitter and Facebook. A free version of the game is coming soon with the In A Row game mode.
Golf Putt Pro 1.0 is on the App Store for only $0.99. iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad required with OS 3.0 or later.
