Windows 7 Slate Tablet PC: Release Date Update

We have some good news for those of you who had been keeping an eye on the upcoming collection of Microsoft Windows 7 Slate tablet devices, as Microsoft boss Steve Ballmer has given consumers an update regarding release.

As reported from BGR, the CEO of Microsoft had been speaking at the Worldwide Partner Conference event when he revealed that all Windows 7 slate computers will be released before the end of the year.

We know that an HP Slate device is definitely coming after early details were revealed a few months ago, but Ballmer actually confirmed a few more companies that will be releasing tablet PCs for Microsoft.

Some of these include Dell, Samsung, Toshiba, Asus and even Sony. More details through the link – let us know your thoughts on this.

    I have been watching the market since I heard about the HP Slate. Then I had heard it died. Now that I know it was just on hold, I will be watching for it again. When I find the Windows based device that meets my requirements, I will be making the purchase.
