iPhone 4 Consumer Reports: Apple getting desperate?

Following on from our earlier report which informed you of Consumer Reports’ brutal attack on the iPhone 4 in relation to the reception problems, we have now learned that Apple has taken action by deleting user threads over at their support forums.

As reported from Engadget, it is thought that Apple are not too happy with the recent review by Consumer Reports and has started to remove any Consumer Reports-related threads from their forums.

This thread here was posted on the Apple support forums before it was taken down by the company soon after. Luckily, it was cached by Bing, so have a read of it in full and let us know what you think.

It is safe to say that Apple really has a problem on their hands here. They can probably get away with deleting information on their own support forums, but I doubt they’ll get away with mistaking a hardware problem for a software problem.
