NBA 2K11 Wishlist Before Release Date

Over the last few days we have wrote about NBA 2K11 and the Lebron James situation, and also showed you a HD image of his Heat jersey, but today we wanted to talk about your NBA 2K11 wishlist.

NBA 2K11 has a release date of October 5, 2010. The official site shows that the game will be on the iPhone and other iOS platforms, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and the main portable gaming systems. As one of the most authentic NBA video games, we expect great things from this game but what can be improved on the previous versions?

We know that NBA 2K11 features will include improved graphics and gameplay engine, a quick play mode, ability to create a custom player, an improved and deeper My Player mode, and a lot more.

One forum post on IGN looks at things that need to be fixed in 2k11, take a read of that, and then let us know your wishlist in the comments below. What bugs need to be fixed from previous versions? What features need to be added?

More authenic/detalied arenas and specific chant and sound sform each nba stadium

right more realism to the game. Different referees becuase they have the same one in every game. Better crowd atmosphere. Update commentary or change it up alot. Very detail arenas and add specific audio from each arena. Ex: lakers, cavaliers, celtics, knicks and etc.

better artificial intelligence and faster paced game. and everybody intact with eachother. really make it a team game. everyone with their own assignments and really relying on eachother to win. not just one player scoring most of their teams points. and make it so the teams shoot between 40-55 % from the field. not 60-80%. Oh and make the miami heat a team that wont beat you everytime lol.

the 90's bulls team, pippen, rodman, pac man, bj armstrong, luke longly, cartwright. Other 90's basketball teams, the Dream Team 1 and the last dream team to win gold. MJ's tongue driving the lane, his scowl in anger and his smile but they have nail his looks. Even when hes at the free throw line, his whole ritual his face with sweat. all his mo cap moves and dunks. Lord knows when Mike will be in another game again. I don't think 2k in 2k10 did a very good job with kobe, his eyes and nose are off and his head feels too round needs to be longer more oval, he looks almost like the actor Omar epps. hopefully better gameplay, i read 2k fixed the bodies and arm lengths, models were begining to look pretty stale. real looking and bouncing hair would be nice for players like Gasol, steve nash. Please fixi turning over the ball with a half court pass. Dunk contest could be super polished , would be nice to have magic and kenny smith talking feel more authentic. thats about it for now.

Fix Kobe (from 2k10), his eyes and nose are wrong, his head is more oval too not round. he looks like the actor Omar epps now. Michael jordan needs to have perfect expressions, when he scowls chewing gum to when he smiles, and everything he does with his face at the line. mo cap his moves and dunks. who know when we see him in a game again. the 90's bulls basketball team, the dream team, first and last to win gold.

Theres only really 2 things they need to fix.
1. Make online workable, Nba2k10s online worked about half the time which was dissapointing.
2. Don't have your shots based on luck. Make it based on skill

Wish 2k had the best crowd ever…I want the crowd to be so real it would give me goose bumps everytime I score late in the game or just score period..and gamewinners should make me want to cry everytime I hit one…

I think it would also be cool to have real life celebrities at the game. Who wouldnt want to see Jack at every Lakers game. Maybe some Kardashians at the Heat games. It wouldnt be a huge addition but its a small favor to ask and it will make it feel alot more real.

I wish 2k was much much more smoother with the different combinations of moves and shots off the dribble and dunks and layups etc.
And I wish the rim and net was more life like, like the actual rim and net in the NBA!

I wish 2k would put the scoreboard back at the bottom..if it’s a small scoreboard I would like for it to be in the bottom right..if it’s like a bar, I would like for it to be in the middle at the bottom! plz because that would also make it look more realistic

I wish that 2K would use some of the classic Air Jordan collection in the game. Not just all team Jordan shoes. I also wish that the shape of the shoes changed depending on if they are hightop or lowtop. it seems that in 2k10 the shoe shapes were the same sizes or too big for the style. also in 2k10, there was a problem with the dunking schemes. If you wanted a dunk package in my player mode the packages would change when attribute pts were added. and most of the 360 dunks didnt work on my game. ive had it since it came out and i have never done one though i have seen the cpu do one or two. so those are my wishes.

Make my player so you can play with a friends online and make it so you can’t dunk every time and maybe make a shot bar when you shot so if it was in the green it would go in and if in the red it would miss. Instead of just shooting it would it would make it harder and more enjoyable and if someone contest the shot or dunk or Layup the green bar would be less than the red would be more and you would have to let go when of the shot button when it was green to go in or maybe add a yellow as well for it to be a 50-50 shot. And the better the shooter the better chance it has to go in the better the penetrator the better the chances it goes in and you could do it with steels and shot blocking to

Also make my player online like you make your player and play others my players online and maybe make it so you and your friends could play with their my player and you could play with yours and team up and play with other and there my players WITH REAL TEAMS just get 10 my players and make a team of players. It would be better if online was more coop orientate. And have your my player getting better by playing online and have a online rank for your my player. Also have a league of you and maybe a friend and your my players and play with others and there teams and have a draft of the nba players to add on your team with your my player. Also make it so you can stick to your favourite player or you’re my player so you can feel like you’re in the game.

2. No charging calls when you are running away from your basket after an offensive rebound.
3. No shot stick crap…I'm driving to the hope with Tyreke Evans for a dunk and just before the ball is in the net, I let my finger slip a tiny bit and he pulls the ball back down, does a full 180 in the air and throws the ball off the bottom of the rim or back of the backboard.
4. Classic teams: Ie 80's Celts, Lakers, Pistons,76ers, Rockets, 90's Bulls, Rockets, Suns, Spurs, Jazz, Knicks, 2000s Lakers, Kings, Spurs, Mavericks, etc.?
5. Xbox live MUST improve. It should not take 45 min to get one game started.
6. Allow for more than one user on one xbox play in xbox live at one time.
7. My player co-op
8. No Russell Westbrook dribbling through an entire team for four quarters for 50 points on 22 of 26 shooting.

3) Please add the easy select team mode, all 30 team show up at one screen, Because use LR swicth team kinda waste a time.

Definitely add more shoes into the game…
My player mode should have the draft combine in it, with contract descisions, and trade requests possible. I dont want my player to be subbed on and out of a game so quickly. My player mode should also be harder to get into the starting lineup, add all-star weekend into my player mode too

Yehh i think they did add the driveing an stuff to here but yehh superstar mode should have a virtual world where yu can make your own decisions like rreal life an stuff. But yehh shidd i seen a few clips of driveing on the game folks

nba 2k11 needs a realistic franchise mode like in real life! i only get offered trades to get bench people all year like in 2k10 because da only trades for people that matter are wen i negotiate them!and like at the trade deadline on nba.com there should be teams lookin to move big names for cap,locker room problems,etc. (for exampl vince carter,shaq wen he was traded to phoeix,and pau gasol)and i always see sign and trade deals in the offseason and i want to see them add that,bacause the only way the warriors got david lee was through sign and trade and the heat got bosh and lebron via sign and trade!(also hedo turkoglu went through sign and trade last offseason!and we should add technical fouls!and a more realistic trade deadline with teams offering big names for various reasons like they ask for people because they got hit with a big injury and also can get more than 3 things in a trade like wen the lakers got gasol the grizzlies got alotta picks and a few players and also add overseas because alot of people go overseas like josh childress and be able to keep prospects oversees like ricky rubio!please look at this!

all u people r dumb…nobody rly cares about if their hair bounces, a baggy jersey, or life-like crowds, wat this game rlly needs is a new game engine tht makes the ai much more intelligent and they need to make it so tht you cant just drive to the hoop at will with any player you choose to score every time, it should be diffecult to score and penetrate the paint…

Also, make my player mode REALLY realistic like balance between one and off the court like instead of just playin games and drills , lets go even deeper like you can choose to go to the gym, meet up with your girlfriend, go to interviews, sign a shoe endorsement and customize your own shoe, get an agent,do the nba combine and accually watch you get drafted stuff that real nba players do everyday

To get things started make sure that Lebron does not win every single MVP for 6-9 years in a row, that is quite frustrating and he would not be able to do that in real life. In season mode if a player is really athletic but a great shooter he should either become worse when he gets around 32 or 33 because his athletism would go with age and he obviously not be able to score as easily without being able to drive in. Lebron is not a great shooter, which means he should be putting points in 30s when he is in the 30s. Also just improve the overall defense in the game, I'm tired of going into shootouts because the computers never seem to miss, even if they are well covered. Driving in also shouldn't be as easy as it is in the game, I was able to get inside the paint for a layup or dunk at will because I would simply just lose the defender, if my guy goes charging in the lane he should be well contested by a big man that's near the post player that he is defending and actually provide some help defense before it's too late.

In my player can you also make some of the games actually skipable and start off with a better overall as well. I found playing every game in a 82 game season ridiculous and the fact that my player starts off that made is worse. Do sometype of combine or something and depending on how good you do in that combine affects how good your player will be. Like an example is if my guy does very good in the shooting drill then he should be good at shooting, or if he does poorly in shot defense then his ability to do all that stuff should be a lower overall. That would truly make it my player and not some player I start off with that has the exact same stats as everyone else that chose my position as well as the type of player he is.
