The GeForce GTX 460 has finally been officially announced and there are said to be 12 models of this latest video card. Newegg now has the price for all twelve models ranging from $199 to $244, which as you can see is a huge difference – something to do with clock speed.
Variations of the GeForce GTX 460 come from the biggest makers, these include: ASUS, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI and Palit. Differences are very small, but just big enough to make a difference. Most have the same base configuration – 336 CUDA cores and 768MB of GDDR5 memory
So the above specs are a little lower than its older brother, but all 12 models come with a faster rating. With the different versions it is hard to know which one to choose, but Engadget advises that the 1GB, 256-bit version would be a great choice.
If you were thinking of getting one of these GeForce GTX 460 graphics cards, then you had best hurry – Newegg has already started to shift a few units. Visit their website.
