Borderlands Game of the Year Edition: Rumored September Release Date

In late 2009 2K Games released Gearbox Software’s Borderlands multi-platform video game, we are now hearing that a Game of the Year Edition could well be on its way.

This rumor started when GameStop listed the Borderlands GOTY Official Strategy Guide on their online store, this strategy guide was scheduled for release on September 7th, however was soon removed, CVG now believe that the GOTY edition of the first-person shooter could launch on the same date.

If this is accurate it is thought that the GOTY edition will consist of the full game with all released DLC integrated onto the disc at a majorly reduced price, which is perfect for any of you who missed out on the game first-time round.
