By Jamie Pert - Jul 12, 2010

If you live in Shanghai you may have previously wondered where your local Apple store is located, well we have some good news, one has just opened in Pudong.

Prior to this Chinese Mac enthusiasts would have had to travel to Beijing, however now there is an Apple store located near the skyscrapers and the eastern banks of the Huangpu River in the financial district of Pudong.

This news seems to indicate that Apple are concentrating on the Chinese market, the company are also reported to have plans to open another 18 stores in China by the end of 2011.

Since the release of the first-ever iPhone Apple’s reputation has rocketed in Europe and America, therefore it is only natural for Apple to concentrate on the eastern market.

Do you think Apple will heavily impact the far east?
