Following on from the huge Toyota recall this week, we now have some important information for Chrysler and Ford vehicle owners. Both companies are recalling sport utility vehicles, trucks and Transit Vans over pushpins and a brake tube issue which could lead to the loss of brake fluid.
As reported from TodaysTMJ4, Chrysler is recalling around 22,000 vehicles over the brake tube problem. These include the 2010 Dodge Nitro, Jeep Liberty, Jeep Wranglers and also the Dodge Ram. Without this recall, Chrysler has stated that the risk of a crash could be more likely.
Meanwhile, Ford is recalling over 30,000 2010 Transit Connect vans due a problem with pushpins that hold the liners above the driver’s head. However, this is only due to a failure to meet federal standards, so it is not as serious as the Chrysler recall.
