ASUS Eee PC 1201PN: Release Date, Specs and Price details

We have some good news for those of you thinking of picking up the latest Asus Eee PC, as we have a release date to share with you now, as well as some impressive specs for the 12-inch powerhouse device.

As reported from Engadget, the Eee PC 1215N has gathered quite a following in the last few weeks, especially since the netbook will come equipped with NVIDIA ION discrete graphics.

Other specs for the 12-inch device include a 1.8GHz dual-core Atom D525 CPU, HDMI output, 1080p Video playback, Flash 10.1 support, USB and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, and the option of either a 250GB or 320GB hard drive.

The good news, is that you’ll be able to take one home on August 23rd – according to Engadget. We don’t have a confirmation of price for the 1215N yet, but Engadget also reveal that it should be below $500 on retail.
