With plans to branch out into the Chinese market, Spyker has decided to produce a road going version of it’s GT2 racing car. The exotic car manufacturer hopes that apart from the U.S, China will become one of it’s largest markets.
Although based on the racer, the car will not be quite as hardened. Both wider and longer for added comfort, it will boast some interior refinements to make it easier for road use. With a launch date set for October this year Spyker must be close to completion.
According to China Car Times Spyker also have plans for a four-door model to tempt the Chinese customers. It’s due to be unveiled at some point in 2013, and should go head to head with the likes of Jaguar’s XF, Porsche’s Panamera and VW’s Passat CC.
