Pictures have been released of Mercedes latest 2011 CL models, the CL63 and CL65 AMG. As we all know AMG are the German manufacturers in-house tuning firm, and everything that rolls out of their door is bound to turn heads.
In keeping with the fresh new styling of Mercedes, the front grilles of both cars are prominent with a large three pointed star. The CL63 replaces the chrome up front with mesh and gains a lower spoiler. To complement this more aggressive side and rear skirts are added, with 19-inch AMG alloys. As with all AMG’s the engine is the main talking point, and with a 5.5-liter, twin-turbo V8 pushing out 544 bhp, it has plenty to say.
Moving on to the 63’s big brother the CL65 AMG, a little chrome is put back onto the redesigned lower front and rear skirts, which single it out from its slightly smaller counterpart. Also the 65 rolls on 20-inch wheels, whilst out the back sits AMG’s signature oval tailpipes. Up front the 6.0-liter, bi turbo V12 hammers out a massive 630 horsepower with 737 lb-ft of creamy torque. Hit the link below to see the gallery of pictures.
