Back in February we revealed that Firefox for the Maemo-based Nokia N900 had been officially launched, we are now hearing of an update which has been released today.
This update brings the Firefox Mobile project to version 1.1, this update is for all Maemo-based smartphones, including the moderately successful Nokia N900.
There are plenty of new features for you to enjoy, including support for browsing in both landscape and portrait modes, zooming via the volume rocker, a new personalized start page, auto-update for add-ons, improved autocomplete and smart tapping.
Also there are more context menu options such as save image, and open links in new tab, along with the ability to save PDF files and much much more (you can see more info here).
