Today’s high-end smartphones tend to feature a processor with a clock speed of around 1GHz, however a recent article posted on IntoMobile shows a rumored Samsung smartphone which will make a 1GHz processor seem sluggish.
Apparently this Samsung smartphone will be called the Samsung Galaxy S2, this will be the direct successor to the Galaxy S, which you may know as the Captivate, Fascinate, Epic 4G or Vibrant.
IntoMobile’s article suggests that the Galaxy S2 will feature extraordinary hardware specs, including a 2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM and 32GB of internal storage along with a microSD memory card slot.
Apparently it will also feature a massive 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen display, this touchscreen supports a resolution of 1280 x 720, which should mean a better screen than the iPhone 4.
Other specs include an 8 megapixel camera capable of full HD video capture (720p or 1080p), Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi b/g/n and more.
If all these specs are true we can expect the hardware to be knitted together by Google Android 3.0 (Gingerbread), which is scheduled to be released later this year.
To be honest I think these specs seem a bit far-fetched, however if they turn out to be accurate I think that this will undoubtedly be the greatest smartphone yet, what do you think?
