iWork Coming To iPhone – Truth Or Rumors? – Video

By Updated on

It has only been a few weeks since Apple made a mistake on its iPhone 4 website, that previewed the possibility of iWork coming to the iPhone with a screenshot that showed the ability to use ‘Keynote’ to open presentations on the device.

The image was replaced very quickly, with ‘Open in iBooks’ instead of ‘Open in Keynote,’ but this did spark of an online topic. Is iWork coming to the iPhone?

Since then, a series of leaked screenshots have been discovered on the internet, and more recently the 9 to 5 Mac blog received 12 screenshots that allegedly prove that iWork will infact will be coming to the iPhone.

It would make sense if these images were real, especially with Pages and Numbers being released as universal applications for all iOS devices, but one or two unconvinced members have stated that they think the images are fraudulent.

The reasons? Apparently some of the icons are not properly aligned, the fonts in the templates do not match the iPad version, also, the “Cancel” button is shown in two separate colors, and there are some inconsistencies in the wording within the screenshots. Apple are VERY well known to be picky, and want everything to be absolutely perfect. If this is so, Apple would not just let these mistakes happen.

Prior to this, a few fuzzy screenshots also surfaced, but were dismissed as they were not truly taken as a legitimate leak.
