God Particle In 2010: Google books has answers

By Peter Chubb - Jun 24, 2010

We all know about the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), which has the nickname “God particle”. Scientists have been working on this device for years, and they hope that one day it will be able to explain the secrets of the universe – this is done by trying to recreate the Big Bang.

We are certain that there are those of you who would like to learn more about this so-called God Particle – thankfully Google Books can help answer all those questions for you. A simple search in Google Books returns a list much greater than I first thought – so we are certain that there is a book out there that can explain all you need to know.

What better way to learn about something than for free, and there are so many ways for you to read the content of the book. You can do this on your computer at home, your laptop while out and about or even on your smartphone – although reading this can become a bit difficult on that small screen.

The nice thing about Google Books is how you can scroll down to read the content of a book or scroll left to right to get to a certain page. All page numbers are displayed at the top of the screen – always keep note of this in case you loose your position.

Looking at these search results – it did not take people long to start writing about a doomsday event created by this God Particle.
