Panasonic have recently released a new firmware update for their ZS7 digital camera (known as the TZ10 outside the US), this update brings the camera to firmware version 1.1 and should allow users to get more out of the camera’s impressive hardware specs.
If you would like to download this firmware check out this link, once it is installed you should instantly notice that the ZS7 is faster once turned on and will also feature improved flash exposure.
The firmware installation procedure looks pretty simple, firstly I would backup all of the photos stored on the camera/memory card, once complete check the firmware version (available within the camera’s [VERSION DISP.] section in the setup menu, then download the updated firmware version, decompress the file, copy it to an SD card and install the update, for more in-depth instructions check out this link and check out the section starting “Actual installation steps”.
