iPhone 4: New AT&T Release Date Online and In-Store

If you are planning to pick up the Apple iPhone 4 from AT&T either in-store or online from their website, we have some important news for you. The carrier has announced a new release date for the device which will go on sale on a ‘first come, first serve basis’.

As reported from BGR, the new date for AT&T orders is Tuesday 29th June. AT&T has announced that date has been pushed back further as a result of huge demand for Apple’s new device.

This date will effective orders both in AT&T retail stores and online too. The good news is that those of you who pre-ordered the device before June 15th should still be receiving your iPhone 4 this week – AT&T will be sending out emails to customers for an update on the situation.

This isn’t really a surprise to be honest. Don’t forget that this applies to AT&T only, so you could still pick up the iPhone 4 from places like Best Buy, Walmart and Apple themselves if you are lucky.
