Struggling to find that perfect gift for Father’s Day? Forget that boring necktie or nose hair trimmer get an app about subjects that will be of interest to dads. The 2010 Father’s Day App Blowout is offering discounted apps from June 19th to June 20th.

Inspired by the yearly New Year App Blowout that is organized by Howling Moon Software, this Father’s Day see’s many indie developers putting their apps up for sale at a discounted price. The apps are picked with dads in mind for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Subjects include learn about wine, manage finances, track gas mileage on cars, help dad improve his golf swing, track his time, find out how many solar panels are needed to go fully green, and much more. The apps are only discounted from June 19 and 20th for Father’s Day in the UK, Canada and US.
