Wendy’s Pull CD: Fast Food and Alternative Lyrics

Some interesting news to bring you now, as it has been reported that Wendy’s, the popular fast food chain has pulled a free CD from their kids meals, after it was revealed that the CD contained some lyrics that were not suitable for young children.
As WFAA reports, parents who order a Crispy Chicken, Hamburger, Cheeseburger or Nuggets kids meal are treated with a free CD containing some classic 80′s tracks by artists such as the Jackson 5, Rockwell, Kool and The Gang and Marvin Gaye.
There are four CDs to choose from, but Wendy’s had to pull one of them as it contained a track by Donna Summer called ‘”Last Dance.” WFAA reveals that this track contains two sets of lyrics, with one version including the words ‘so horny’.
Since the kid meals are tailored for ages 3 and onwards, parents were surprised to hear such lyrics, prompting Wendy’s to drop the CD soon after – the remaining 3 other CDs are still available though.
Was you given the ‘Disco Fever’ CD? If so, what are your thoughts on this?
