We have some great news for those of you planning to pick up the Garminfone, as we can confirm that the handset is now available to buy exclusively from T-Mobile.
As reported from BGR, the handset is perfect for GPS fanatics as this will easily replace your current in-car unit, while the added smartphone features are an extra bonus.
Bearing in mind that this is a GPS-centric device, don’t be too harsh on the rest of the features you get. The phone includes Android 1.6, a 3 megapixel camera and AWS 3G. Will this phone get a new version of Android down the line? – I doubt it.
If you are interested in picking this up, you can get it from T-Mobile for $199.99 after a $50 MIR. If you want the handset without a lengthy contract, then prepare to pay $449.99 for it.
Head to T-Mobile direct now to purchase it.
