New Apple iPhone 4: iWork Suite Coming – Unconfirmed Rumor
By: Jamie Pert | June 9, 2010 | Leave a Comment
Apple made a little mistake today on their iPhone 4 pages, when they posted a screenshot showing that useRs could open presentations in the forthcoming iPhone app ‘Keynote,’ which is also coming to the iPad.
The screenshot was quickly replaced with the same image, but instead of using ‘Open in “Keynote”’ they opted for ‘Open in “iBooks”’ instead. But for the ones that saw the initial image, we got a sneak peak into Apple’s plans for the application being available for the iPhone in the near future.
‘Keynote’ intends to be a part of the iWork Suite Apple announced alongside the iPad, which also comes with ‘Pages,’ a word processor and ‘Numbers,’ a spreadsheet application. You can purchase all three for $9.99 each, but are only currently available for the Apple iPad.
iWork was not one of the features that Steve Jobs presented Monday at the WWDC, instead only demonstrating a handful of the ‘over 100 new features’ that will be coming to the iPhone. This of course, could be one of those features not mentioned. Whether or not it was a genuine mistake, or a slip. We have seen it happen before.
