Acer Aspire One D260: Officially Announced – Specs and Release Date

With all of the smartphone and tablet related news lately, we seemed to have forgotten all about netbooks, therefore we thought you may be interested in Acer’s soon to be released model.
This is the Acer Aspire One D260, earlier reports suggested that it may come with the choice of Microsoft Windows 7 or Google Android, however it nows seems as if the Android plans have been scrapped.
There are optional hardware upgrades available for this model, however as standard it features an Intel Atom N450 (1.66GHz) processor, 1GB of RAM (maximum of 2GB), a 10.1 inch display supporting a resolution of 1024 x 600, WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0, more specs can be seen here.
