T-Mobile: UK customers to get iPhone 4

By Gary Johnson - Jun 10, 2010

First it was The Carphone Warehouse off the starting line with announcing plans to stock the new iPhone 4, we then we had O2, Orange and Vodafone also giving details of plans to stock the device. Now T-Mobile is set to join the party.

An article by Stuart Miles on Pocket-lint.com is reporting the operator will be stocking Apple’s new handset. This will be the first time T-Mobile has offered any of the iPhone versions to their UK customers.

In a statement from the company they say “T-Mobile UK will launch iPhone 4, the thinnest smartphone in the world, with the highest resolution display ever built into a phone. Further information on launch timings, pricing and tariff plans will be revealed in due course”.

This latest news leaves Virgin and 3 the only big UK operators not to have announced anything about the iPhone 4. The site contacted both of the operators with 3 saying no comment, and Virgin stating “we are in talks with Apple”. This could mean they might have some news soon.
