New iPhone at WWDC 2010 Keynote: AT&T Upgrade Gets Easier

By Jamie Pert - Jun 7, 2010

If you are already an AT&T customer and you are due an upgrade you are probably eagerly awaiting the unveiling of the new fourth-generation iPhone at WWDC 2010, on the other end of the scale there are probably plenty of customers out-there who are currently ineligible for an upgrade.

If you are one of these ineligible customers you may be glad to hear that AT&T have recently amended their user eligibility requirements, which could mean that you may well be able to upgrade to the iPhone 4G/HD sooner then you thought.

If you are unsure whether you are eligible, AT&T have made things easy for you, simply check out this link, and click on “Check Upgrade Options”, once you log in you will see all of the relevant information regarding upgrades.

From what we can see AT&T are offering loyal customers upgrades to the new iPhone without strapping on an early termination fee, however I would recommend reading the small-print as AT&T must have some sort of clause to cover their back.

Are you eligible for an upgrade to the new iPhone? If not, will you take out another contract just to own it?
