New iPhone 4 UK: O2 and Vodafone

Things are starting to pick up now with announcements from the UK mobile phone companies about any release date and pricing of the new iPhone 4. We reported earlier how customers can pre-register with The Carphone Warehouse for the device. Now 02 and Vodafone are beginning the process of showing what they are going to do with the new iPhone.

Gareth Beavis of Techradar.com is reporting that they were sent a statement from Vodafone stating that “We can confirm we will be offering the iPhone 4 in the UK and we’ll release additional details in the coming days.”

In a separate story the by the same writer, reports that 02 have said they will be announcing an upgrade offer soon. Also they said they were going “To make it as easy as possible for O2 customers still in contract to get their hands on a new iPhone, O2 will offer a limited time special upgrade offer. Further details will be announced in the coming days.”
