Porsche Boxster Spyder Supercar: Price and Specs
By: Peter Chubb | June 4, 2010 | Leave a CommentThere are so many Porsches that we could single out, but it is the Porsche Boxster Spyder that has now become a favorite of not only car enthusiasts but tuners as well – just ask TPC Racing. They aim to turn this German sports car into a supercar, as they feel that there is always room for improvement.
Autoblog know that TPC is capable of doing it; they proved it with their Cayman S Turbo. TPU plan to increase the already tuned 321hp engine to 470 horsepower at the wheels thanks to a turbo upgrade. The tuning company will not stop there and have a number of tweaks planned.
This comprehensive upgrade package to turn your Porsche Boxster Spyder into a supercar includes improved suspension and shocks with infinite adjustability. The engine upgrade will cost $10,000 and the suspension and shocks upgrade will cost an extra $6,000 – that’s a total of $16,000.
The complete car will then cost you $80,000, but for that price you will be able to take on supercars that cost three times as much.
