NBA Elite 11: Control Details and Gallery of Screenshots

By Jamie Pert - Jun 4, 2010

EA recently announced that their next major basketball game will be called NBA Elite 11, they are now beginning to reveal details regarding the upcoming video game along with three impressive-looking screenshots.

All of the screenshots can be seen here, we have embedded our favorite of the three at the end of this post (scroll down to see it).

The graphics are not mind-blowing, however I do like the reflective effect that the court’s polished floor features, none of the three screens appear to show gameplay footage, therefore we will make our final judgment regarding the game’s visuals once gameplay footage is released.

EA are also promoting a feature that NBA Elite 11 seems to be designed around, this is dubbed “Hands-On Control”, this feature utilizes the right analog stick (PS3 or Xbox 360) to control hand movements, this should allow behind-the-back dribbles, hesitations and spins.

This right analog stick usage will also vastly improve defense functionality, it sounds like this should allow you to control your team’s defensive position, all sounds good to me.
