With the 2010 South Africa FIFA World Cup starting on June 11 just over a week away, owners of the BlackBerry can now get a free app which will keep them up to date with events as they happen during the tournament.
James Falconer from IntoMobile.com is reporting that the World Cup 2010 app will deliver live scores as they happen, and allows users access to all of the competing teams by group assignation. The app has been created by the joint efforts of ZonaBlackBerry and s42.com.ve.
The app can integrate with the BlackBerry native calendar, which will then provide a calendar of events to allow users to keep track of their favorite teams and note when they are due to play. The app is available in both English and Spanish languages.
