We have learned so much from D8, we were promised a number of things and we were not let down. One such company who delivered on its promise was Kno with its dual-screen tablet. When we say that the device is big, we have to point out that that is an understatement.
This e-reader device comes with two – yes two – 14.1-inch screens, both with capacitive IPS. The gadget weighs in at 5.5 pounds and reports suggest a battery life from six to eight hours. Joshua Topolsky from Engadget was on hand at the event and reports that the Kno Dual-screen Tablet comes with a Tegra 2 chip and 16GB of storage space.
Topolsky was able to get some hands-on time with the device and even spoke to the team behind the design. The tablet did have some major issues with the UI, but that is to be expected at this stage. The price will be its Achilles heal – at just under $1000 we cannot see Kno shifting many units.
Engadget have some awesome shots for you to get a closer look at this monster tablet. If that is not enough then why not check out a video that they have put together along with a press release from Kno.
