NBA 2K11 (Xbox 360 & PS3): Boxart to feature Michael Jordan as Cover Star?

When game developers choose a superstar to feature on the boxart of a sports-related video game they usually choose an in-form player who has had a successfully year in the particular sport, however it seems as if NBA 2K11 may be one exception.
Apparently NBA 2K11 will feature Michael Jordon as the cover star, this will apparently be the first time a retired player has featured on the cover of an NBA 2K video game.
Previous NBA 2K cover stars have included Allen Iverson, Ben Wallace, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Paul, Kevin Garnett and Kobe Bryant, therefore I feel that Michael Jordon deserves to feature on the cover, do you?
There is also speculation pointing towards Jordon featuring in the game, I would imagine this would be a very popular addition to basketball fans out-there.
As we hear information which confirms/refutes these rumors we will keep you posted, for more details check out the links below.
