Altek Leo Smartphone: 14 MP Camera, May Run Android

These days more and more people choose a handset by seeing how many megapixels it’s camera has, at the moment 12 megapixel sensors are regarded the highest for smartphones, however a new smartphone called the Altek Leo aims to change this.
This handset will apparently feature a 14 megapixel camera capable of HD video recording, this camera will have a 3x optical zoom and both LED and Xenon flashes, this overshadows the 12 megapixel sensors which are offered by the Sony Ericsson Satio, Samsung Pixon12 and the soon to be released Nokia N8.
Other details regarding the Leo are scarce at the moment, as you would expect it will apparently feature 3G and WiFi connectivity along with a touchscreen display.
The Altek Leo will apparently launch at the CommunicAsia conference which is taking place in June, chances are this handset will be sold unlocked and SIM-free, I very much doubt carriers will offer a handset from a relatively unknown supplier.

IntoMobile suggest that it could well run Google Android (hopefully 2.2 FroYo),
