Motorola Shadow (Droid 2): Android 2.2 Froyo and 1080p Video?

We have some good news for those of you seeking more information on the mysterious Motorola Shadow handset, as we have some fresh details to share with you, including some possible specs.

As reported from BGR, a user manual for the upcoming handset has appeared courtesy of a user over on HowardForums.

The manual shows the handset with the Droid branding on Verizon, and also the MOTOBLUR interface plastered on the front of the handset.

Possible specs of the device have also been revealed. These include a 4.1 to 4.3-inch WVGA display, an 8 megapixel camera a TI OMAP3630 processor and 720p video recording. You should also be excited to know that the device is thought to come with 1080p Video output support.

It is rumored to be out this July, and could also come equipped with Android 2.2 Froyo out of the box. Is this the Motorola Droid 2, or rather the Motorola Droid Shadow? Let us know your thoughts on the handset.

    TI's OMAP3630 processor handles native 720p accelerated encoding and decoding. I'm guessing that any 1080p output (because the Droid 2/Shadow will indeed have HDMI out), will be scaled from 720p.
